EMDR Individual Therapy: Adults and Adolescents

$130/session— EMDR therapy for adults is a time that is set aside for you. Often we spend so much time taking care of others and we forget that we are worthy of being a priority, as well. Therapy is a safe space for adults to process their stories, find meaning and purpose in their lives, build on their communication skills, develop coping mechanisms, identify their strengths, heal from past wounds, and learn how to incorporate healthy mental practices in their daily lives.

Adolescents are at a time in their lives where they are creating their identity and figuring out who they want to be. It is also a time of transition within the family unit, friendships, and school. Seeing a therapist during this critical period of development can help manage big emotions, develop healthy coping skills for stressors, and add another safe adult to their social support roster. My office is open to teens grappling with grief, anxiety, depression, family stress, career planning, and more. I am affirming of individuals in the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

EMDR Individual Therapy: Children

$130/session— I practice EMDR therapy with children as young as 4 years old, and working with children is a special joy for me! Helping children to identify their emotions is critical in children developing emotional awareness, coping skills, empathy, and insight. Each of these qualities are so important to foster in children—things they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. In working with children who have experienced trauma, my goal is to help them process these experiences in safe ways so that they can move forward in the world with the confidence and the ability to form healthy relationships. Being able to process and heal from wounds at the time they happened, rather than much later, can change the trajectory of a child’s life in powerful ways. With children, EMDR therapy can involve talking, reading books, music, artwork, games, and much more. I work with each child to incorporate things they love into the EMDR therapy process so that it is an enjoyable and memorable experience for them.
